It really does help. When it started to get cold here this year I didn't have it at first and he had some bloody boogers. It had been the only piece of baby gear that was untouched. We have the Crane drop one. LO just started daycare so she brought home her first cold, so I figured I would give it a try. So far I have no idea if it's helping. I only turn it on when she's in her crib. It's just a really simple basic one. If so, do you use it every night, or only in certain seasons? We have one that also has a light, so I was thinking it can function as humidifier/night light/white noise, but I don't know if we'll be using it all the time. </p>
