They are like $30 bucks. I switched everyone to them because the Crane ones got gross no matter if we used filtered water or not. The Honeywell ones work well, hold a lot of water, and the filter keeps the unit clean. When you want to drain it, take off the top and then do that first, and then I soak up some of the remaining water with a towel before moving the base. If you have forced air, you could get a humidifier that attaches to your furnace and humidifies the whole house. We are probably getting one installed after this winter because I am sick of the constant fill ups too. I find it annoying to refill and dump out the water but I assume that’s all of them. </p> <p>What kind of humidifier do you like for yourself? Is there a benefit to warm mist versus cold? Anything else to keep in mind before I buy myself one? My house is already so dry I had two nose bleeds this week!! </p>
