What you're describing is how I feel exactly! I am 9 weeks and I feel like I'm constantly starving. I've also been periodically nauseous, so I am with you in feeling like healthy foods don't always appeal. I feel like carbs are the only thing that make me feel better!

I've felt like this for the last few weeks, and while I feel like I've been eating terribly I haven't actually gained anything. Maybe my body is crying out for pizza? ;) I agree with everyone that it will probably even out!

Currently 8 weeks, only eating carbs. Just keeping my fingers crossed I will have the energy to exercise in the next month or so. It takes a lot of energy to make a baby, so eat when you gotta eat!

With my first - I was starving all the time and ate a lot. I gained 15 lb by 20 weeks and then only 12 more in the last 20 weeks. I definitely thought I was on track to gain a million pounds but it seems like my body just needed more at the beginning than some people.

All I craved my 1st trimester was carbs. Nothing else sounded good. I did end up gaining 10lbs, but it tapered off once I hit my 2nd trimester so it evened out. Don't worry about it. Eat and enjoy!

It's only of my only pregnancy symptoms in early pregnancy. I just ate, but tried to spread it out. I am a carbaholic in early pregnancy.

Oh yes, totally normal! I am hungry all the dang time, like every 2 hours. I wouldn't worry about the weight gain. I've only gained 5 lbs at 18 weeks and I've eaten like a horse.

Totally normal! Just eat, it must be what you need right now! I had this with my first pregnancy because I was a little underweight when I got pregnant, ate non stop (and a lot of carbs/meat) for the first couple of months, and didn't gain a lot of weight anyway. It sure beat being nauseous for weeks!

I am hungry all the time but also quite nauseous and nothing ever sounds good. A bee rec commended smoothies to me and that has been working out well. I know they are high in sugar, but they've got a lot of good things too.

with my first pregnancy, i ate carbs, carbs and more carbs for most of my first trimester (mostly triscuits and rice...and and cheese). then the hunger/nausea settled down and i could swing a more balanced diet and exercise routine. my weight gain was fine. i say try different things in case there are healthier things that satiate you, but otherwise don't worry too much.

I needed to eat frequently because I was queasy when my stomach was empty. I didn't gain that much weight first trimester though. I wouldn't worry about it.

I was super hungry early on like before 5 weeks. But then my morning sickness started. :( So I was in that super hungry phase for about 2 weeks.

I would say enjoy it because once that morning sickness kicks you might start losing weight.

I would eat!!!!! I think it is totally important and fine to gain in the first trimester. You have to find a balance you feel ok with- just make sure you eat good things everyday too if you can help it. Eggs and avos, things like that with healthy fats might help you feel satiated.

I'm still so early but I am literally starving all the time. It sucks because I am also not in the mood for healthy food. I don't want to gain like 10 lbs in the first trimester but I can't NOT eat. If you had this symptom, what did you do?
