The sample seemed fine to me, especially knowing how HD holds up over time! We had the local rep come out to give us an estimate on blackout blinds for the bedrooms and the price was laughably high. I saw and felt all their samples and honestly, I'm happier with the blinds.com ones that we ended up ordering. Fraction of the price and sturdier material. It was done by an authorized dealer, and they put 3 shades on one window. We requested one headrail and they convinced us that 3 separate headrails would be fine. It's not...there is a huge gap between our windows and the shades weren't cut properly. They're not willing to do one headrail and now we're stuck with what we have. </p> <p>To me, they aren't worth the price. The dealer isn't owning up to the issue, Hunter Douglas is saying they can't do anything because it's the dealer's fault and we're left with some very expensive shades that we're not happy with.
