Happens to me alll the time. I nurse in bed and fall asleep in the rocker nursing pretty often. (I know, it's bad.) I just try to apply moist heat and beg my husband to rub the knot.

I've gotten that from just sleeping funky. Typically the pain goes away in a day or so. I tend to get shooting pains from my neck down through my shoulder when it happens.

I've had that happen from sleeping weird to nurse. :( I also have alot of shoulder & neck issues from a past accident I was in.

I normally just try a hot shower with some aromatherapy & then try to be mindful of how I sleep the following nights (I make more sure to roll P back to her spot after we nurse rather than sleeping while cuddling... since I have to have my arm weird to do so).

My LO is a little high maintenance and nurses pretty much every hour. For my survival, we co-sleep and I nurse him in a side-lying position at night. We both fell asleep the night before last and ever since I've had an awful crick or knot in my right shoulder and the right side of my neck. Has anyone else done this? Is there anything I can try to help it? I've been applying moist heat packs, but geez it hurts!
