I had it both times- hang in there, mamas! It's so SO hard, but so worth it. There's an awesome, closed and private, support group on FB that got me through my second, worse HG pregnancy- if anyone wants the link, wall me!

I didn't have diagnosed HG but was sick for my entire pregnancy and had to take Zofran daily throughout. I feel for all of you who have HG. I'm pretty scared to get pregnant again b/c of my experience with "morning" sickness last time.

@Shimmer: I had huge knots at the sites. I had to change them at least twice a day. They were also extremely painful and I couldn't bend at the waist or get out of bed by myself without being in pain. It was awful. I might as well have been on bed rest because I couldn't function. I still was throwing up every day. We couldn't get the dose high enough to make me feel better because then the sites would be too painful. It was a mess. The pills are helping. But it's really the Reglan that's helping the most. It makes you digest your food quicker which is one of the problems with HG since the food just sits in your stomach and won't digest. So it actually fixes the problem instead of just masking the nausea. I had one really bad day since I've been off of it and I had to go the the ER. I've thrown up a few times since then, but I think I'm doing ok. I'm always nauseated though. I'm eating a little better. I couldn't eat anything besides carbs like pasta or potatoes until recently. I've actually eaten a couple veggies lately!

I know, I read about the ladies with PICC lines and are in the hospital for weeks at a time... Makes me feel lucky. I'm having a hard time with the pump sites... Been getting huge welts. I've lost 10 lbs (I'm 8w3d I think) but baby looks good so I'm happy about that.

I'm sorry there's no light at the end of the tunnel for you :( has the oral zofran been working for you since they took you off the pump? @Mrs.ThinMint:

I have HG. I'm 18+3 and I feel like there's no end in sight. I could have almost written your post! Currently I am taking Zofran pills and Reglan. The Reglan has helped the most out of anything I've tired. I was on the Zofran pump, but home health took me off the pump and discharged me which was nuts since I was still vomiting on it. I ended up in the the ER the week they discharged me. My doctor wants me to go back on it but I had a really difficult time with the sites, so I want to see how I do without it. She said if I go to the ER again then I will have to get back on it. I have gone to the ER twice and I got directly admitted to the hospital from my doctors office once. From reading online I have a "good" case of HG. I haven't gained any weight but luckily I haven't lost any either. My body has really changed though. My arms, legs, and face and skinnier and my bump is bigger.

Today is HG awareness day! Where are my fellow HG mamas? What has worked for you?

I am on a zofran pump and take Reglan four times a day. I'm constantly nauseated but at least I'm not throwing up. After two ER visits and a hospital admission, I'm just grateful I can eat again.

If you don't have HG and are curious about it, ask! I'll answer what I can :)
