If I could get more sleep, that helped a little. No plain water, but bubbly water, Gatorade, and drinking coke slurpees helped. Minimizing bright screens in my face helped. And of course fluids and zofran. I found a FB support group that made me feel like I wasn't alone for my second HG pregnancy, and that really helped. If you'd like the link, just wall me and I'd be happy to share/ add you to the group. It's closed so any posts you make or reply to are private and just for the group to see. I'm so sorry you're suffering- hang in there, warrior mama.

I have Vomix here :) and cyclizine. I did take max dose of zofran each day last pregnancy - but they've changed the classification of that so won't be taking it this time.
I'm going to Dr today so will get a script for an antacid too. Have either of you tried Magnesium?

@MuzzyBee: this is my second hypermesis pregnancy. With this one I had all the prescriptions on hand, then started with diclectin (dyclegis? the unisom/b-6 one) immediately, along with a prescription antacid. when the hypermesis hit, I medicated it hard, and it helped a bit for sure. I got it bad at 5w4d.

With DS I lost more than 20% of my weight in the first 8 weeks, got daily IV fluids till 25 weeks... and stopped trowing up at about 35 weeks.
This time I started B1 B6 B9 B12 more than 3 month before the pregnancy and I'm also taking homeopathic meds (nux vomica). BFing DS helps a lot, too and takes the nausea completely away for about 15-30 min. I'm 6w1d and haven't thrown up, but it has been close. I took something against motion sickness (vomex) last night and it took away everything for some hours. I'm in Germany and it is very difficult to get real meds against HG here, usually they just put you in the hospital on bed rest and give you Ivs.

What has worked for you?

This is my second pregnancy, my first one was horrible - I lost 25pounds by 12 weeks, was in hospital for fluids at least once a week - I realise the chances of me having it again is high - so after lots of reading, I've decided to start treatment before I start vomiting.. So far on my list to take is:
Unisom+B6
magnesium (tablets and an oil on the skin)
I also have a variety of antinausea meds from the Dr... What I'm looking for is anything that helped other people! (Already doing eating every few hours and drinking as much as I can, so far I just have the nausea - no vomiting) :)
Thanks.
