That is the same dosage and kind I take. I took it my whole pregnancy and my levels were normal. I just had a full blood analysis done by a speciality Thyriod doctor and they said my estrogen was off as well but it was because I was breastfeeding, so they couldn't give me anything to fix that. So maybe when they do your full blood work up, and the estrogen is off, you can take a pill to fix it and that will help with the TTC!

Another thing the specialist did was take an ultrasound of my thyroid to make sure there wasn't anything forming on it to make it not function correctly, so that might be something to ask for as well.

Good luck with your tests and meetings. It is all very confusing and hard to understand, but hopefully they can find out what is causing your body to be off and that it's a simple fix!

@HTownMom: i am currently taking snythroid 50 mg it was a new dose about 3 months ago and my levels have come back normal with that dose, i know it may be the medication or just the way my hormones are on my periods, mostly maybe because i cant take progesterone on my periods, maybe i need more estrogen or something? its a very confusing thing! lol I know that they always run tests on my T3 and T4. i am not to sure if i was tests for hashimontos or not maybe i need to get my antibodies checked then, I actually go to a fertility specialist at the end of may its a long wait but i want tot talk to her about this and see what she says cause its not only emotions, i have two periods a month :/ and still trying to figure out why i am still having irregular periods when my thyroid levels are normal so it could be anything playing a rule really. Congratulation on your pregnancy as well! i am glad you had a wonderful and safe pregnancy :) now i just need to figure out whats not making me get preggo and once i do i am sure it will be the most amazing experience! :)

I have Hypothryoid specifically Hashimotos disease and currently have PPD. The thyroid definitely plays a large part in the depression and how your body reacts. Finding the correct level of medication for the Thyriod and the correct medication/level for the depression, will really help.

Have you ever been tested for Hashimotos? Basically all my thyroid tests would come in the normal range( TSH and T4 Free), but there are two additional tests, that look at antibodies and those were way off! The tests are: Thyroglobulin Antibody and Thyroid Peroxidase Ab. They are done with standard blood work.

Further, within a span of 4 months of being on correct Thyriod medicine I got pregnant and had a wonderful pregnancy!!

Hello everyone, I was wondering of anyone else with hypothyroid has depression out of no where? I noticed its more when i am on my period when i get emotional out of no where, i tend to be perfectly fine when i am not on my period and using my progesterone cream. but when on my period at night i tend to get very emotional and start crying out of no where or think of the stupidest things to fight with my husband about like not spending enough time with me, or that i feel no longer attractive to him, i know he loves me in every way but i think these depression episodes are making him not want to be around me cause i get crazy emotional and make no sense sometimes and heck sometimes i have no idea why i even do this?? and i feel horrible for it! just seeing if anyone can relate or maybe i need something to level my hormones when i am on my period. my thyroid levels all came back normal last month so its confusing!!
