Everyone has lots of good ideas! You can surprise him instead of it just being expected because it is VDay. For Vday we do cards and DH gets me flowers. We sometimes make a nice dinner (but he worked late this year so regular dinner). I also planned to get a card while I was out since I could not find one and was hoping the picked over selection would help me finally decide on a card. Well, DH gave me his card first thing this morning and I did not have one for him. He seemed really dissappointed and even made a sarcastic joke on his way out about not getting one. I know he isn't going to want one now. I wrote him a note on his lunch napkin, which he will probably think is to make up for the card; but I had planned to do that anyway.</p> <p>Did anyone else have a morning like mine? </p> <p>*Why did I need to take the day off to do clean? Because its a chore and the weekends are for relaxing. </p>
