I like the Buffalo, but the whole thing just looks so so much bigger than the Vista. My cousin owns it and literally one day, she's walking down the street and SNAP - the entire handlebar just split in two! Of course she must've had a faulty frame, but it made me feel better that I chose the Vista:) Plus the Vista bassinet is approved for sleeping - s/t the Buffalo's isn't.

I don't have the Vista, but I have a big stroller, the Bugaboo Buffalo. My kids are 3 years apart and we bought the Buffalo when I was pregnant and DS was almost 2.5. I used it aaaalllll the time for him until LO2 was born. When she arrived, we bought the roller board and he likes that most of the time. I think he has ridden in the stroller maybe 3 times since she was born (after we switched from the bassinet to seat) and it hasn't been a problem. These days, especially in the summer, LO1 is often either riding the roller board, riding his scooter, or even walking much more (we don't have a car).

When we bought the Vista we wanted it to be our one and only stroller for a long time. We got both the rumbe seat and piggyback board. I'm happy to report that we heavily used it for more than four years! I recently very very sadly sold it.

We eventually did get an umbrella double stroller for traveling. We sold that at the same time we sold the Vista.

At the time we sold it my son was 4.5 and my daughter was almost 2. She hated being strapped in and my son always wanted to sit when he saw her sitting. So we had one kid who NEEDED to be sitting who didn't want to, and the other who was too big to be sitting who wanted to. Haha. So we knew at that point we needed a different solution. We ended up with a double bike trailer with stroller wheels, and we also have an UppaBABY glite for quick trips.

All in all I'd totally get the Vista again!! I loved that stroller. So easy to push, so sturdy and so much space.

The Vista is a fabulous stroller. I think the best single stroller on the market. My LOs were 20 months apart and it was great for awhile, but we wanted a side by side after #2 was 6 months, so I sold the vista and bought a used bumbleride indie twin (even $). The bumbleride double is great for walks and for jogging, but I never take it in the car. When #2 was itty bitty the vista was easy to get both in the stroller with the car seat attachment and rumble seat for dr visits, etc. After 6 months I just use an umbrella stroller for the car and my 3 year old walks. The vista is a perfect single stroller and will work as a double if need be, which sounds like your exact needs. I think you made the right choice!

yea, it's sad when that happens, but why shouldn't Uppababy be allowed to update their strollers? If you want, you can sell yours and buy the new one for a bit more (which can be annoying...)

I love my Vista! I thought I'd never use it because of the weight but it's become the only stroller I use.

@cdrom92: So sad to hear about the line being updated because that means my strollers will all be outdated.

I own the Vista and love it! Expecting my second now, so I'm planning on using the rumbleseat. I just found out that they are coming out with a new Vista stroller 2015 and I'm considering to sell my vista to get the new one. I find that when Uppababy makes changes to their strollers, they are usually important. and i'm DEF hoping they make a better Uppababy Rumbleseat 2015!

I think you will still get a lot of use out of it. We walk a lot here, the park is about 2/3 of a mile and even at 4 sometimes the lo still wants a lift for a bit sometimes. I find it often works out to have the kids swap for a bit too so if you have a four year old and a one year old the one year old can toddle for a bit while the older one takes a break. Once they get much bigger than that they will ride their bikes. And if you do Disney or somewhere similar and want a double they are pretty cheap to rent.

I have a B-Ready and will have LO1 and LO2 that will be 3 years apart. We still use our stroller with our daughter. Not often but when we go to the mall, a parade, or a long walk she loves to ride. I have the second seat for when #2 comes and I hope riding with her sibling interests here in riding again.

It sounds like it will work for your situation. I have two kids really close and would have loved the ubv for my one, because the 2nd seat is flimsy, not a high child weight and the bottom child can't really see out--so it wouldn't have worked for me. But, it's a stroller to die for with one child!!

I'm interested in the responses since that's pretty much my plan (kids 3 years apart, so not quite a double stroller but able to put te older one on it sometimes). I have been using mine since c was born 8 months ago and love it. It was great this winter getting around poorly shoveled sidewalks.

LO is 16 months! I have been lusting after this stroller for over a year. In a nutshell, i didn't research strollers properly before LO was born and got the B-agile. It is a great stroller, but did not meet most of my needs - something I discovered after many frustrated moments and seeing 2 friends of mine with their UBV's all year having such an easy time with features i longed for!

So i waited out the winter and am back at work full time so I could finally justify the cost.......and i bought it today! I am so excited! But like with any big purchase, there is a little voice in the back of my head asking me if this was REALLY worth it??!!!

Since I bought it so late in LO's life, my plan is to enjoy it as much as possible to make up for lost time....and then we plan to have baby #2 by the time LO is almost 3 years old....by then i figure we won't need a rumble seat, but I would get the buggy board for when LO#2 needs to be in the stroller (say he/she is napping) and LO#1 is tired of walking.....i also love babywearing, so i envision myself wearing my newborn/infant for many months and LO#1 can still use the toddler seat often until he is 4 years old.

Does this sound feasible?....essentially now that i made this big purchase, i want it to be the one and only stroller i have for years to come! and i plan for my kids to be almost 3 years apart.

So maybe you can also answer this: How often does your 3 year old actually need/want to be in a stroller? (I can still return my UBV if everyone convinces me that i made a horrible choice and it will NOT be a good stroller choice to serve 2 kids three years apart....)
