That swelling is the worst. One day in December (baby was due early January) I came home from work and my feet had just ballooned up. My lord...my poor feet are unrecognizable!!</p> <p>@knittylady: Yeah, I've been googling (bad me) and it seems that these types of pains are pretty normal-ish. I rested in bed for an hour and drank a ton of water and they subsided quite a bit.. I guess I was dehydrated! </p> <p>@LazyLightning: Oh yes.. my poor cervix. My third tri was AWFUL. The nausea came back, and a lot of the pain you describe. And the swelling, oh, the swelling!!! Do you also get the stabbing pains in your cervix? Yeeeeeech. First off, I had no idea my nausea would come back! I've felt queasy as heck after eating the last couple of days. More annoying/concerning, my abdomen has been pretty painful lately. Today my lower abdomen feels crampy and sore, and my upper stomach kinda feels like it's tightening, but in a painful manner? I don't know if that makes sense. Aand lastly, instead of constipation, I have had a terribly upset stomach the last few days.</p> <p>To be honest, I'm being a worry wart and hoping these aren't early labor symptoms. So, any of y'all feel similarly towards the end? (I'm 34w, by the way). I guess I just wasn't expecting to be in this much pain!</p> <p>Did I mention I'm pretty sure LO is trying to break my ribs on one side? ;) </p>
