I think our youngest has said that to my husband once or twice. He's also known for gems like "You are MEANIES" and "I never want to live here or come here again!" (we only get the boys part time). </p> <p>Usually the only time he says these things are when he's done something that warrants a punishment. One of the families I nannied for had this issue and when their kiddo would say this, the parents would say "Well I love you" or "I understand you are upset, do you want to talk about it"...it seemed to work for the most part, but did take a little bit of time. I try and remind myself that he only says that to people he's closest to. Still though, it stings.
