Stay strong! Nothing wrong with neutral clothes for a month or so. Heck, you'll be in such a tailspin getting outfits together will be your last thought.LOL

We were Team Green and it was worth it. I LOVED having a surprise to look forward to! I was super connected to her and could tell her personality, although I didn't know if she was a boy or girl.

Just get past the AS and you'll make it.

We are team green but I went threw a phase where I just wanted to know. Now I am 25 weeks and so glad I didn't find out at the anatomy scan. I do however wish these 15 weeks would hurry up so I can meet my son or daughter. I don't think the fact I don't know our baby's gender makes the wait any harder though. LO's gender is actually not something weighing on me anymore. I just want to hold our child and see what he/she looks like. Gender really isn't as big of a deal now that we made it past the anatomy scan. We are CDing though so I am very excited to customize/get gender specific dips when LO is born now we just have white, brown, and orange ones. As far as clothes go yes it was hard to find stuff but I managed to find enough stuff for the first few weeks (probably longer) then I will go shopping crazy and get gender specific clothing. Our nursery is Dr. Seuss themed so gender didn't really matter.

i give so much credit to you ladies who were able to not find out! i needed to know, and will need to know when we have our next child. but i do see the appeal of waiting. i think hearing it's a boy/girl when you deliver would be amazing...but i just can't do it. :o)

We went through a similar stage and ended up finding out. I know you don't NEED to know to plan things out (and our big items are still neutral) but it's helped so far... I guess it all just depends on how big a deal the surprise is to you!

We were team green and it was so much fun!! For the first 3 weeks, she was basically always in a tshirt and diaper wrapped in her swaddle blanket so it really didn't matter what she wore. And we were gifted SOOOOO many clothes when people came to visit and meet her, I've barely bought her 4 or 5 outfits and she's almost 4 months old. I did what @banana suggested and got some really cute hair clips and headbands to accessorize with her neutral stuff.

Being team green is fun! I've really enjoyed joking about names and making bets with people. The gendered clothes and decor are overrated, anyway.

We are planning to go team green this next time because we just want a healthy baby. Also, when we went in for our anatomy scan that's when we found out we miscarried. It just makes me feel kind paranoid to go in the next time. So, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be team green. Plus, people think I can't do it so that's another motivation to do it.

I didn't think I could do it either, but I did and am sooo glad! So I vote you stick to it if there's a good reason you wanted to be Team Green in the first place. For me, it was very motivating during labor. Also, it was that moment of finding out and then meeting her at the same time... Indescribable... No surprise could ever top it.

What's wrong with a bunch of white onesies in the beginning? :)

me neither, i never considered team green for a second. plus i had too much hope that i would have a girl, so if i had a boy (which I am), i wanted to get my past my initial disappointment long before the baby arrived (which i have now!).

I could never be team green, I am way too much of a planner. Not that you can plan much with a baby. But, I have noticed that there seem to be too few gender neutral clothing options and those that are out there are certainly not my style.

Haha - yes! I caved. At the start I was team green all the way, but as the anatomy scan got closer, and my husband started saying just the right things to persuade me, we found out! It wasn't really about decorating or clothes for me - I'm still buying gender neutral type things (in case the next baby is a girl).... But just really wanting to know who this tiny person inside me was.

I think it would have been great to wait, but I am really glad I found out.... My husband and I have just felt super connected to him. Although, I would admit part of that has to do with feeling him kick so much now.... But I really love knowing ;)

Go with your gut!

You can do it!!!! Just look for white onesies or yellow/green. Blue is perfectly fine for girls too. I plan on dressing my daughter up in lots of blues (my son's hand me downs). Just stick a pink bow on her hair and there... you have a girl! Think about how exciting it'll be at delivery when you find out the gender!

Stay strong! It is so rewarding to wait, and there is lots of gender neutral stuff if you just look hard enough! Sawyer has an awesome gender neutral wardrobe, and I still buy lots of neutral stuff now because I am actually a fan of it now that we have started with it.

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted the gender to be a surprise. Now that I'm actually pregnant, I don't think I can do it! We were looking around the baby section tonight, and there was pretty much nothing gender neutral. If we go team green our baby might have to be naked for the first month. Hubs wants to find out, and I think I'm losing my will power.

Anyone else ditch their team green loyalty when pregnant?
