(((hugs))) </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/i-feel-terrible-1#post-1018124 Thu, 15 Aug 2013 07:46:19 +0000 Mrsbells 1018124@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>My almost 16 month old got her finger caught in the door this morning(. the side of the door that has the hinges) THis has been my worst fear because lately she is obsessed with opening and closing doors and I always see her put her fingers in the slot near the hinges. So i always try to keep all the doors closed, but this morning I was rushing around I thought i had closed the closet door but I guess it didnt click so she pried it open and next thing I heard her screaming and saw her pinky was stuck in the door near the hinge because she stuck her hand in there and tried to shut the door. My heart just broke. I had to get her finger out, and there was a noticable line on her pinky. I put ice on it and gave her some advil just in case. She calmed down after a few minutes and was happy again so I had to drop her off at daycare as normal. But I feel terrible, just terrible. I wonder if I should have stayed home with her. What if something serious happened to her finger, what if its sprained or broken? </p>
