Except it's for Christmas, my mom always hides all the gifts in random spots around the house leading up to the holiday. Basically she has them all wrapped but she doesn't want anyone to see them and try peaking. Well come Christmas morning when we are opening gifts, there's always 1-2 that she forgets about! I made the ham, carrots, broccoli salad and rolls. As we were putting stuff on the table, I was looking around thinking I was missing something. I forgot about it and we enjoyed dinner. </p> <p>At 9pm, I was doing laundry and thought, "I forgot to make the potatoes!!" Haha. Yup, it took me 4 hours to figure that out. I guess we're having potatoes for dinner tonight b/c we have 2 pounds of hash browns in the freezer that need to be eaten! :)</p> <p>I blame it on not paying attention to the meal since we had a sick baby and more company than I'm used to.</p> <p>Have you had any scatterbrained moments recently? </p>
