I just found out that my boss elected (it's at his discretion for my type of job) to let me have paid maternity leave! With the extra expense of twins and the fear of bed rest, this is friggin' HUGE for us! I can take up to 18 weeks if necessary, which means that if I have to go on bed rest, we won't be completely up a creek. I am sending all kinds of thank you prayers up right now and thinking of really good Christmas presents to give my boss! :) </p> <p>Isn't it such a relief when you've been worrying about something and it turns out better than you expected?! </p>
