If they aren't the right size it will cause friction which will give you blisters. I saw a lc when i was trying to bd and the first thing she told me was that i was using the wrong size shield. Have you looked through the medela pump manual? I have gotten sore all over again (like the first week of nursing) and LO is 7 weeks. I've been using nipple butter (the organic one, forget the name) the past few days....I should have been more careful! </p>
