She has a very long crotch to hip ratio, and she just kept outgrowing them by length. I LOVED the newborn ones but I think he just grew SO quickly that the smalls were worthless. They are just as much of a pain to "stuff" as pockets. When we went up to mediums (and followed the fit tips on the gDiapers website) we came to love them again.</p> <p>Sorry you aren't liking them. :(</p> <p>@MrsHotDog: I think it really depends on your baby size. My baby is pretty chunky and gDiapers are mostly recommended for skinny babies but we have success with them for some reason.</p> <p>I have borrowed some Flips and Capris--ended up buying a Capri and a Thirsties duo for overnight. I also got a Mother's Ease fitted but it is HUGE and it is SO hard to completely cover so I hate it. I have one fuzzibun and although it took me a little longer to figure out, I have zero leaks from it, and from my Charlie Banana. My complaint about them is that they are easy to have operator error! The last time I changed the elastics on my CB, I didn't tuck the elastic away well enough, and my poor baby got ELASTIC BURN from all his exercising with the diaper on. It was terrible! Not just a little red, but actually raw skin! I had a big, special diaper day yesterday. First I went online to order both covers and stay-dry liners (he got a little contact-irritation on the skin from the wetness in the front) for the Bamboozles and was trying to look to order from somewhere that had Bamboozles too so I could get size 2s....oh, and Rockin Green too, because I'm almost out. Well, I ended up reading more about wool covers, which I have been too scared to try (because of the 'different care' but very attracted to. Then I did it, I made the plunge and bought wool covers for overnight. Can't wait to get them and try them out. And then I decided to get fitteds from that same website (The Cloth Diaper Shop) and went for Thirsties Duo Fab fitteds because they have a built-in stay-dry liner. Then because I am no longer afraid of used diapers I also randomly got a Blueberry One Size Bamboo Fitted. They did nothing but leak and be crappy the whole time. I ended up selling all of them.</p> <p>I love my BumGenius 4.0, Charlie Banana, Rumparooz pockets. They all work really well and I haven't had a lot of issues. They are even better if you buy some hemp inserts to go in them. Baby Kicks are the best.</p> <p>BUT my absolute favorites are my AIOs. I have Baby My Waye and Peachy Green and I'm looking to get some SassyBumz. The PGs are my FAVORITE. They are sized and are side-snapping diapers so they are SUPER trim fitting. They are made of natural materials (organic cotton and bamboo), and manufactured in the US. She can wear one overnight (she sleeps 6pm-8am) and not leak.
