He agreed and I had them recut DS's hair. It's not perfect and it's still shorter than I like, but it's much better. I'm glad we got it fixed since we're taking lots of vacation pics. Sigh. I can laugh at it now - remember when I asked MIL to take DS for a hair cut... I just let it grow out. It took awhile. My son got butchered last time - scissor marks, way too long in the front, choppy over ear cuts that were super visible. It was also way too short in places so we really couldn't do much to fix it without him being bald... My son is not quite one and he's gotten four haircuts - two because he needed a haircut and two because the haircut he got was AWFUL and I had to get it fixed. Both times I took him somewhere else because I was embarrassed to go back to ask them to fix it. The first bad haircut was my own fault - I didn't want him to look too much older so I asked them to just trim across the back and around the ears and he looked ridiculous. His hair is super straight and we pretty much never bother to put product in it unless we're doing formal pictures. The problem is the front of his hair is super short and the sides definitely need the clippers. It's like she made the hair short so it's not over his ears, but it's still really full. It sounds like you still have extra length on the sides anyway, so they can use the clippers like they normally do. His hair was getting really long and we're going on vacation next week where it'll be warm, plus lots of pictures. DH wasn't sure he should go without me, but I didn't think I needed all four of us to go along to Super Cuts. Well, I was wrong.</p> <p>They got back and I immediately made us all get into the car to fix it. I could see the scissor mistakes in his bangs and it looked like a haircut from Dumb and Dumber. I took him in and said I was unhappy and DH drove around while DD napped. The stylist fixed the bangs (kinda) which was the most glaring problem. But then the next day when I looked at him, I still hated it. DH told the stylist not to use clippers (which we usually do) and just use scissors. It's uneven and it's not short enough on the sides. I hate it and think he looks kind of ridiculous.</p> <p>I don't really want to go back to the same place and have the woman try to fix it again. Should I go some place else? Live with it even though I think it's awful? </p>
