The reason is that when I was growing up, if we wanted to talk to a friend, we had to call the house phone and ask for that person. It's just with time zones and finding the time to talk to friends and family is hard. They always call and I have to ignore it or I answer when I'm in the car between errands and I have to sit and talk in the car in the parking lot of Target. Or while I'm in Target and of course I wander without getting any shopping done. </p> <p>For calls that are not to family and friends, yes, annoying. I hate being put on hold.
