Total sense. Try this: with the arm that is on the same side as he is, hold him under the armpits (your arm is wrapping around his back, so your hand is under his one arm). Lift him up slightly. With your other hand, grab the ring part and tug/shimmy it until it is back up by your shoulder. I will make a video for you some time today, since I am doing such a lousy description! Here is my issue: when I put it on I put the ring up near my shoulder. But once I finally wrangle my python/badger-child into it, the friggin ring moves down to my belly. So then I can't tighten it until I get the ring up higher and that takes some sort of talent I don't posess. Every once and a while I could get him in without too much fuss when he was tiny, but he's a year old and I'd love to hip wear him sometimes and here's where my problem lies. When he was a newborn, and now at 3.5 months. It takes me forever to get it tied correctly, then the fabric gets all stretched out and he doesn't feel secure in it. Then I have a hard time getting him out! Not to mention it's hot as hell.</p> <p>I finally gave up just now and put him in the Ergo. Less than 30 seconds later, and we're both so much more secure and comfortable, and LO is headed for a nap!</p> <p>Anyone with me?! </p>
