Had it been me, I probably would've told him to get the f off my property and never knock on my door again. I'm so sick of them coming to us for money. I'm not the welfare office or an ATM, I'm an expectant mother with expenses of my own. Granted, we've planned and been financially responsible so giving them $500 wouldn't hurt us or jeopardize anything, it's still the principle of it. Their biggest issue is that their crappy kids suck them dry and they turn to us to bail them out. </p> <p>I have pretty strong feeling about standing on your own two feet so it absolutely drives me nuts when they ask for money. They've made horrible life decisions and while we have helped A LOT, at some point, enough is enough. They've really done it this time. It's 11pm and they came over, beating on the door because their refrigerator went out and they want to put everything in ours. We have two dogs, who went absolutely BERSERK because he was beating on the door, which is what woke us up.</p> <p>Um, WHAT?! </p> <p>#1, it's 11pm, why would you even THINK of waking up your neighbors?</p> <p>#2, it could wait until morning as long as you leave your refrigerator door shut (trust me, I know, our refrigerator went out this summer and we didn't run to them and put our stuff in their refrigerator... but that's probably because we actually work for a living and could afford to purchase a replacement, but regardless, everything didn't go bad over the course of 12 hours and it was SUMMER)</p> <p>#3, it's about 15 degrees outside, if they're that concerned, they could put all their crap outside.</p> <p>#4, they never come around unless they want something from us. If they were kind, considerate, upstanding people who would actually return the favor someday, I probably wouldn't be that upset.</p> <p>They just suck. Part of me wants to go throw all their crap in the trashcan. DH is way too nice and puts up with way too much from them. I don't know what they're thinking. They're not coming over every time they want something out of the refrigerator. </p> <p>They're just stupid and worthless. </p>
