My DS just transitioned last month... it was bittersweet. He was getting way too big for the infant room and was acting out because he was bored (like throwing toys, climbing the shelves, etc). He is so much better behaved now since he is observing the older toddlers and when I dropped him off this morning, he walked right up to the circle of toddlers who were listening to the teacher talk about animal flashcards sat down. When I waved bye, he didn't even flinch, boo hoo.

In the fall? M will transition in the fall, as well. It's bittersweet. I'm glad she's transitioning then because they do SO MUCH in the 1's room as compared to the infant room!

My LO was nice to me. She didn't walk until 17 months so I could still call her my baby :)

That transition was much harder for me than initially leaving my newborn at daycare. It is so cool to watch them grow into an independent person though so it isn't all sad.

Wahhh. My baby is growing up. She is transitioning to the older "infant" room and will be in toddler room in the Fall.
