They are - my family was so surprised how competitive it is, and since I got in the first time I applied I don't think they believe exactly how competitive ;) I had been doubting my decision to do this before receiving the letter and thought of switching programs - but once I got that letter, it didn't take long for me to realize how rare of an opportunity this is and how long I've truly wanted it!
