I found mold growing inside our hospital bulb syringes (I cut it open to see) and I was shocked. I had been using those for months to suction out my kids noses. And mouths!! I had the same issue as you - DH washed my parts once and didn't do a good enough job. I feel your pain. Over the summer I discovered mold in the handle of my Medela manual pump. I had no idea how long it had been there, so I tossed my whole freezer stash (at least 50 oz.). It was frustrating. I felt so guilty that I had possibly been feeding DS contaminated milk, but, if so, he seemed none the worse for it. Hugs and good luck. I'm freaking out that I have been feeding LO milk that passed through these parts for who knows how long. And I am seriously going to cry when I get home and pour these 12+ ounces down the sink.<br /> Now I don't know what milk in my freezer stash is also potentially contaminated too...</p> <p>Ugh. </p>
