I love my career along with the money that it brings in so it was a very difficult decision to give that up. </p> <p>For our family, we decided that I would quit now and plan to stay home with our LO for ~1 year. That would give us more time to adjust to parenting and it would allow DH to be able to be a bit more focused on his career. I plan to re-enter the workforce in 2014 and since my industry is doing pretty well, I don't think it will be problematic.
