I'm currently at 4 sessions a day. I'll occasionally only do 3 and notice a huge drop, so I know that if I want to make it close to 12 months, I pretty much need to stay at 4 pumps a day. My boys currently take 40 oz a day between the two of them, so I still need to pump quite a bit. But it's definitely better than when they were taking 60 oz a day combined! </p> <p>@DillonLion: haha, I dream about running it over with my car. Hmm, stubbornness is a good point! You're soooo close! What got me past the 1 year mark was dropping pumps.. At 10.5 months, I dropped down to 2 pumps a day and things became much more manageable.. I only had to pump for one, so I had a pretty big stash. Be warned though.. when you drop down to 2, you better be prepared to wean.. For a month I was getting ~20 oz. off my two pumps, then literally over night it dropped to 8 oz. I was crazy from trying to figure everything out, and I was pumping around the clock. Once I passed 6 months, every additional month was just a bonus that I never expected. I EP and my original goal was 6 months. After that came and went, I started thinking about going until 12 months. I'm sooo close and yet it feels far away still. I think I'm just over pumping. I long to be done with this machine and to be free!! But at the same time, I feel like I should stick it out so I don't have to transition them to formula and then WCM so soon after. </p> <p>EP'ers, what kept you going in the later months? </p>
