But she also will send us things from DHs childhood, which are really lovely, but when someone lives in a small space you don't ship furniture cross country without checking first. (In this case, a cute but impractical little toddler sized ornate chair. We only have one TV with cable and it is in our main living area that is baby proofed and has all the toys. My MIL has the Spode Christmas tree dishes, and last year she sent me four place settings of it to start my own set. Which is lovely and all but I live in a 1000 sq foot 2 bedroom condo and don't really have space for stuff we use every day, much less stuff I can only use a few weeks out of the year. This year, she already sent me another 4 place settings. I'm about to have our second baby in this condo and it's bursting at the seams already, but there is just no way to not keep these dishes without being really rude. So we will have to find a place to store them. Plus she knows we will move within the year so we will have to move them as well. Two years ago we had a big ice storm in my area and my parents lost power for a week and stayed with us, over Christmas, and I was 36 weeks pregnant. I wanted to murder everybody by about day 2. And so my in-laws have been staying with us since then along with four of their kids (ages 6, 8, 10 and 17) and I am SO over it! Ahhhhh. I just want my house back. They are saying if the power isn't on for folks by today it will likely be Wednesday due to how bad the damage is. I am praying the power is turned on in their area today!! 😜</p> <p>What do you have to complain about today? No judgment here - anything goes! ☺️ </p>
