2 a week isn't enough to warrant medication?! that sounds pretty bogus and if you're having dizzy spells/fainting that can be very dangerous with such a lo! i'd either see your doctor again and stress how bad they are or see a new doctor. panic attacks (though, i'm not 100% sure that's what's going on) are no joke.

whatever is going on definitely needs to be taken more seriously by your doctor.

@googly-eyes: @autumnlove: Thank you! Yes, my plate is overflowing :(
@brady80: I've ask my Dr and he told me they weren't occuring enough to warrant medication.
@Pointshoestutus: Thank you so much for that info, I will be looking into it. These started when I was still pregnant, I had her in August but they've continued.
The last time I passed out I was doing the dishes, last night it happened immediately after i put the fire out and opened a window. Good luck at your appointment, I hope you get some answers.

Sorry you're dealing with this. Maybe talk to your pcp about a referral to a therapist? Panic attacks can be managed and cured with therapy and/or medication

Look into POTS (postural othrostatic tachycardia syndrome). What you're going through sounds a lot like what is going on with me at the moment, except I'm not pregnant. In my research on POTS, I found it can be brought on by pregnancy.

Do you have fainting issues and/dizziness upon standing when you're not pregnant? What were you doing right before you passed out the recent time?

I've struggled with panic attacks before and they resurfaced again recently but something about them seemed different. I went to several doctors and their best guess is POTS. It can only be confirmed by a cardiologist so I'm waiting my appointment.

I found http://www.dinet.org to be very informative about it. I hope you get some relief soon!

I've never had them before, it started when I was about 37 weeks pregnant with my third, Dr said it's pretty common late in pregnancy. Well baby girl is now 2.5 months old, big sister is 2, and big brother is 11. I've had at least 2 a week since they started, I've blacked out twice, mostly I just have shortness of breath, heaviness on my chest, and everything goes fuzzy. Tonight was especially stressful ( 2 yo's food on the floor, baby hysterics, entire kitchen contents on the floor thanks to said 2 yo, she pooped her pants, then my 11 yo caught a roll of paper towels on fire because I left a burner on), I cleaned the poop, put out the fire and collapsed. I couldn't stop shaking, couldn't move or talk, I stayed conscious and could hear everything but I couldn't talk or move. He called my parents and my Mom came over and helped. I still feel weird and now have a headache. This whole 2 under 2 thing is no joke.
