Adoptive parents aren't heroes - they're parents. Parenting is powerful and beautiful in it's own way, but just because someone adopts doesn't mean their parenting is some sort of martyrdom. </p> <p>Does that make sense? I'm not trying to draw away from what a beautiful thing their family is, in any way. I hope it doesn't sound that way. I find them inspiring and heart-warming.
