I was washing my hair and my hair got caught in my earring backing and pulled it off. I reached up and my earring slipped right out of the hole. I FREAKED out and immediately stepped on the drain to cover the VERY big holes with my foot and turned off the water. I was screaming to Wagon Sr. to come help me find it. We couldn't find it and I was so upset. After we gave up I stepped out of the shower and found it in the ridge of the doorway of the shower! You will have so much more peace of mind with screw backs. I'm not really a jewelry girl, so I've worn these earrings pretty much non stop for like 12 years with no worries.
