We've had great experiences too, they recently delivered something using their new delivery service and they dropped it at a door we have literally never used at our house, basically they skipped the front door (and the package would have fit between the doors) walked across our deck past out back door and around the house to the basement door. They replaced it and we found it weeks later.

I had a great experience with them when I had a problem with my Kindle. It had a weird bright spot, I called, and they just sent me a new one and the packaging to return the old one.

I had this happen this week with a package marked as delivered that I never received. I called and they were able to resend it and I had it 2 days later. They said if the original package ever does show up I'd be welcome to keep it.

Normally I have no problem with Amazon but earlier this year we had a package that said delivered but we didn't receive it. I called and they were very unhelpful and just told me to wait a few more days. Turns out our neighbor had it and eventually brought it to us but I was annoyed they didn't seem to care, especially since we pay for Prime and it was technically considered late.

This just happened to me with Amazon! My package said delivered, but after 24 hours it hadn't arrived. The sent another one that I received that day. A few days later my neighbor brought my package over. He hadn't realized it wasn't his until he opened it and saw the contents. I told Amazon and they told me to keep both. It was a toy for DD for Xmas, so I'll donate it to a toy drive.

I've never had something so serious happen but have used their chat line for other things like a broken item or late package and they are always very helpful!

I just had to profess my love for Amazon customer service. I sent a package to a family member in the hospital, express delivery and it was lost (signed by someone that no one seems to know). Amazon was so wonderful in automatically offering me a refund, even though there was confirmation of receipt.

In a world full of crooks and criminals, it just feels good to be able to shop without worry! How has Amazon's customer service worked for you? Did you use their telephone operators or their chatline? I used their chatline
