I'm sure my tap water is probably clean enough, but why risk it. I boil enough for 4 or 5 uses at once and keep it in a clean jar so I don't have to boil it every time. </p> <p>@chopsuey119: I was using cool, room temp water last night. Maybe that was the issue, I'll try warming it up first. Thanks! OF course it was some extreme situation where they used dirty water or something but still, freaked me out! I'm so congested, but I tried it last night (I have the squeeze bottle kind) and I felt like I was drowning because I think there was no where for the water to go with the congestion. Is there a secret- breathing in, out, through your nose, or mouth? </p> <p>@Pink Champagne: The kit I have came with a powder that you are supposed to mix in that makes it PH balanced or some such nonsense (it tastes like tears if it drips down the back of my throat).
