You can literally walk in and order a meal - pay nothing and it is totally legit. People take that same approach - if they are having a financially rough week they may eat their twice for free - then be sure to eat there twice weeks they can afford it so it balances out. All I wanted was a smoothie and sandwich from Panera so I drove over there between classes and when I reached for my wallet I realized I had left it at school.</p> <p>When I got up to the window, I told the cashier I had forgotten my wallet and I would need to come back later and he told me "Don't worry about it, it's on the house." I didn't know what to say. I actually told him I was pregnant and sick and nothing else sounded good and how grateful I was. I also promised I would come back for lunch next week so I could actually give them some of my money. :)</p> <p>I am going to get on their website and send them a message, too. I know it seems like something small, but it meant a lot to me today.</p> <p>Good feelings for a Friday. :) </p>
