That's what I always think whenever I make a boo-boo like that... at least it insures that I'll never make THAT boo-boo again.</p> <p>When my brother was a baby he touched the hot oven door with his hand. While he was screaming and my parents ran around getting ice, etc. he wandered over to the stove and pulled a hot pan down onto the same arm that was burned. He had this cast-like bandage on his entire arm!! There are pictures!! He was fine, and that was a blistered ARM and not just a finger. When my DH was little, he pulled the actual iron down and got a burn on his cheek. No lasting scars and he has no memory of it. Though it did happen on family picture day so there is photo evidence, haha. When I was a baby my sister didn't close the bathroom door all the way and I crawled in and pulled my moms hot curling iron down. I have scars on my arm and leg from it. The good thing? I don't remember it at all! J grabbed at my hair dyer last week while I was sitting on the floor with her while drying my hair. I know how you feel, it's the worst thing to know that your LO got hurt because you were in rush/distracted/etc. DS fell of the bed recently because I was rushing around in the morning and wasn't focused on him. Awful. J has had a rough enough week and I made a stupid mistake and got him hurt :-( </p>
