We were like that too until my son was around 5-6 months of age. That's when he went down at 7:30pm and didn't wake up until morning. It was nice having evenings to ourselves...to enjoy dinner together and then cuddle and watch TV. Once your LO has a more established schedule and goes down earlier, you'll get your nights back to cuddle with your DH!

Awww.... I'm sorry. :( I'm sure I will feel that way too. My DH already works such long hours, I'm sure when LO arrives it will feel like even less time together.

When did you start having wind down time with DH?

Our evenings are spent soothing/feeding/changing/soothing LO, and trying to get her to sleep, then rushing off to bed so we don't miss her longest stretch of sleep. We get to spend one day a week together (MIL babysits), but still... I miss DH!
