We bought it for $99 off Amazon. It wasn't fancy, but it did its job and we were happy with it. The battery sucked, though, and we had to constantly keep it plugged in. If it wasn't plugged in, it would die after half an hour. </p> <p>I can't remember how it broke, but after a year, the sound quit working. We didn't want to buy another monitor, but our house is like 3000 sq ft and LO's room is on the opposite end, so we can't hear her at all. We ended up buying the Levana Jena for about $100. The battery life is longer (up to 8 hrs, I think), but we feel like the night vision isn't very good. Unless the camera is just a few feet from the crib, it's pretty much impossible to see anything. It's definitely not the best monitor out there, but I think it's good for the price.</p> <p>ETA: No wifi issues w/either monitor. It didn't kill our internet, but we had proximity issues. If the monitor was on, our laptop or tablet would have wifi issues if it was within a few feet. It wasn't a huge deal, but inconvenient at times. We've used it heavily for 16 months, and it just now crapped out on us. The charging port just won't stay connected. But we abused that thing and it's been great.</p> <p>My other suggestion is get something from target and buy their cheap warranty plan. They're like $7-29 depending on the item price and cover EVERYthing, even things like spilling your coffee on it or stepping on it. We just got it on our latest monitor and have it on a few other things too.
