As a lifeguard for 10 years, I can tell you that the disposable ones do not contain poop as well as you'd like.</p> <p>I dress my girls in a long sleeved rash guard and a matching swim diaper, but they would have shorts too if they were boys :) I like the rash guards because they can get cold easily when they are so little.</p> <p>Also, the chlorine kills the pee in 4 seconds, no joke. We use "Little Swimmers" by Huggies. I normally put the LO in a rash guard top and then some kind of swim bottoms - with the diaper underneath.
