@pelikila - love nurtured family! Not sure how the online purchasing is because the store is about 10 min from my house, but every time I have been in the store has been awesome. Great variety of items and wonderful customer service,

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Exactly! I'd order one size up from normal. I didn't look too hard but Nurtured Family has it on sale. http://www.nurturedfamily.com/majamas-lace-sleep-set.aspx. I shop nurtured family a lot so it is a trustworthy source in case you haven't heard of them.

I used to wear cheap sports bras to bed while nursing. Comfy and just enough support and held the pads in place!

The medela sleep bra has virtually no support and I don't find the band restricting at all (I still wear it to sleep and I'm not nursing).

I know you said no bra, but I love these lace trimmed sleep bras from Motherhood. I find them super comfy and not constricting. Otherwise I'm not sure what would hold pads with out wearing some kind of shelf bra.

Majamas Sleepy Dress was my favorite. I has pockets in the nightgown for breast pads and it wasn't tight or restricting. I had the Lace Sleep Set (sleepy dress with robe and a touch of lace) and after I was done with it I passed it on to a friend and she fell in love with it too.

I had the same problem and never figured out a solution. Eventually my cheap target nursing tanks stretched out and my ribs got a bit smaller so it was more comfortable (though now the nursing pads slide around).
Since it was summer I did sometimes wear a nightgown like this one, with a band under the bust, and if you use the sticky back of the pads it worked OK.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=64648&vid=1&pid=601725002

Or I just wore really stretchy bras.

@dagret: I wear a Coobie bra to bed. I don't feel like it's very restrictive. I even just told Hubs the other night that I don't know if I'll ever be able to sleep without one. It is really comfortable!

ETA: I tried a few "nursing" nightgowns from Destination Maternity and hated them because they had no structure or support. I had breast pads in and still woke up soaked in BM because they shifted around so much in my sleep.

what about just wearing a stretchy bra with no underwire or structure? like a coobie bra? I found a similar style at Target.

I think without being a shelf bra nothing would be tight enough to hold the nursing pad to your breast?

Okay. I'm searching for comfortable nursing pajamas to wear to bed. I can't stand sleeping in nursing camisoles that have a shelf bra. The elastic under my bust feels restricting to me, even if I go a size or two up. Even sleeping in a "sleep bra" is not comfortable. However, I need a bra or shelf bra so I can wear nursing pads. Otherwise, I will soak the bed!

So, I'm looking for something that I can put nursing pads in that DOES NOT have any sort of shelf bra or built-in support. I don't need support when I'm sleeping! Does anyone know if there's anything out there with some sort of pockets or slits for nursing pads, with no built-in support?

Please share links if you know of anything! Thank you!!!
