I agree with everything @yin: said regarding TJs/WF and just trying things over and over. I try to make a point of introducing new ingredients or recipes all the time so that they are used to seeing different things and don't expect the same dishes all the time. I can consistently get at least one good meal so I don't worry about ones that are less successful. Breakfast is usually oatmeal of GF cereal and eggs or fruit. Lunch is often snacky - so things like coconut yogurt, carrots with hummus, tortilla chips, apple slices, raisins and broken cashews. Then for dinner I do either a meat or quinoa or legumes (lentils/beans), a veggie like roasted cauliflower or broccoli, salad and sometimes a starch (but I try to serve that last otherwise they will only eat that).

My LO has a lot of allergies (dairy, egg, nuts, wheat, soy, most seeds, anchovies... ). He isn't as agreeable as his big brother who also has his share of allergies. I've learned to keep trying and stick with simple preparation of veggies and meats. I do a bulk of my shopping at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods to find allergy free alternatives. Every morning he eats avocado, GF oatmeal, coconut yogurt, and breakfast sausage. This is the only meal I can really count on him eating. He enjoys carrots, broccoli, GF noodles (there are quinoa and corn ones), sweet potatoes, beef stew, pasta fagioli, chicken, peas, and some squashes. Even if he doesn't like a certain food, I will keep reintroducing it.

@Mrs.Someone: he hates avocado!

@Anagram: he can do chicken and beef (but doesn't like the beef plain and I haven't served it any other way). I made him a pancake and he trussed to eat it.... so picky. :( we have a bunch of pork in our freezer - maybe I'll call the locker and see what the sausage ingredients are - good idea!

@Ash: have you tried meats? My LO loved breakfast sausage links at that age (still does) and several brands are dairy/soy free.

LO also likes other softs meats/fish like rotisserie chicken, bbq beef brisket (I can give you a recipe if you want), bbq pulled pork, and salmon just baked or broiled.

My LO also loves dairy-free pancakes and waffles. I just make them and substitute almond milk for the milk. Here's a wheat free recipe. http://www.food.com/recipe/oat-pancakes-wheat-free-210647

Other than that, we give her all kinds of veggies and fruits.

Oh! SHe also likes taco soup--I make a healthier version with boxed beans (rather than canned), ground meat, diced tomato, frozen corn, tomato paste, and sometimes I throw in some quinoa if I don't use the ground meat. For DH and I, I add a lot of taco seasoning (there are soy free "natural" kinds!) but I leave it out of LOs, so hers is pretty bland.

Alright everyone I need some suggestions! Ds has some intolerances and allergies that make meal times difficult (on top of him not liking texture).

So do you have any dairy, soy, banana, rice and wheat free recipe ideas for a 14 month old? So far, the main foods we've tried without a reaction are: eggs, apples, pears, carrots, potatoes, corn, grapes (there's more, I'm sure)... But I'm up for trying anything if it gets him to eat.
