Are there mom/baby playgroups in your area? That is a lifesaver for me. Where we live, there are a few different meetup group and moms groups that I am part of. They are always listing fun activities to do with LO's. Gymboree, we go to library twice a week, sometimes 3 times. Music class, and just even going out for a meal was nice. Also, I think this was an age where they start being aware of their surroundings to the point that they actually do get bored of their toys. Essentially she divided her daughters' toys into thirds and every week switches them out. I try and keep her busy with things like a sensory box, painting, hanging out in different rooms of the house, letting her play with non-toys, going for walks/playing outside, reading, and going out and about. However, I need new ideas. She gets independent play as well as interactive play with me but it just seems like the day drags on and on because I think we are both bored, honestly. </p> <p>Anyone have any other ideas on how to spend the day with LO when we are hanging out at home? </p>
