He may not have quite as much patience at it as I do, but I like knowing that he can do everything with her just as well as I can. Maybe it's sexist but I didn't really expect that. Also he swaddles her way better than I do. When those ran out, I figured we'd just go really simple and probably eat a lot of takeout. </p> <p>DH took it upon himself to buy a couple of healthy/clean eating cookbooks, and taught himself how to cook! He plans meals about a week in advance. He has never cooked before, but he uncovered some major skills in the kitchen. I go back to work next week, and he's already got his meal plans and grocery list ready to roll. I'm so proud (and less stressed). </p> <p>Did your SO take on any surprising responsibilities after your LO was born? </p>
