As much as I hate to use this phrase, in those moments I have to say..."wait until you have kids". The problem I"m facing now is my SIL who seems to forget what having small children is like as hers are 12 &amp; 14. She continues to try to dictate our schedules and gets mad when I mention we can't do things as they conflict with my kids' schedules. Naps in an unfamiliar place, time changes, more snacks and junk food, MOTN wake ups - eye roll. I am so EXHAUSTED after we spend time with family - they have no idea how hard it is to orchestrate visits. I vividly remember saying to my husband "why can't she have her nap NOT over lunchtime?!?!"
