Orange juice and saltines did the trick for me. I walk my dog when I first get up and was not ready for a full breakfast but eating something was the only thing that would help. 2-3 saltines and a small glass of orange juice worked wonders through the first tri.

Agree with the ladies who suggested crackers by your bed. I had this when pregnant and it was because I would wake up so hungry in the mornings. I kept granola bars and water on my nightstand and ate a bar before I got up for the day. It helped tremendously.

Not just in the morning, but I am still like this at 19w3d. It actually wakes me up at night still. This is the first pregnancy where I have felt this bad so late in the game (I'm also dizzy and getting headaches).

I've read it's best to eat before you get up... I get night sickness, I have t thrown up in a couple weeks, but I make sure to have a snack and go to bed early... Everyone is different I guess.

I have this, too, some mornings. I found that if I get up slowly (lay there for a few minutes, then sit up and sit at the edge of the bed for a few minutes before standing) and keep crackers by my bed it helps. It's almost like I wake up STARVING, so putting a little bit of food in my belly right away helps.

Mat first it was all day sickness but I continued to throw up every morning until 6 months or so even after I felt better.

Anybody else experience this?

I am 18 weeks but every morning when I get out of bed I am nauseous. Sometimes I vomit water/bile sometimes my mints do the trick. But ONLY in the morning! It makes the term Morning Sickness ring true. I can't complain too much since last pregnancy I dealt with HM but seriously! I am in the second tri and would like to enjoy my mornings! Lol
