I'm thinking of signing up for a mommy and me swim class for my DS (19 mo). DD is going to go to swim lessons with her pre-school this summer. Summer is already almost in full swing down here.. we are eating popsicles every day! :-) I am really looking forward to going to the beach this summer and building sandcastles! We're going to miss the last class because we'll be at the beach with our family, and the condo we have this year has a pool, so I decided I'd rather him hopefully get comfortable in the water BEFORE we go rather than waiting for the session after we get back. </p> <p>Anyway, it was actually the best part of my day yesterday because I then spent the next 10-15 minutes daydreaming about all the fun summer things that are in his future...trips to the beach, hikes, water balloon/gun fights, popsicle melting onto his little hands, day trips....DH probably won't be around much during the summer (it's his busy time at work--we barely see him during the week even now), so I want to make his summers extra fun, and I am so excited about it!</p> <p>What fun things are you looking forward to doing as your LO gets older? </p>
