It wasn't easy but I think it's do-able if you have a good plan in place. My biggest worry was figuring out how to go to the restroom but the Ergo worked perfect. I think I was lucky that my oldest was pretty well behaved the entire trip with one incident that required me to raise my voice to get him to calm down. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but, for me, my parents live half way around the world and if I wanted to spend a month with them it's what I had to do. I would do it again to be able to have my kids see their grandparents. Luckily, they are flying with us to Taiwan so we pretty much have help going there and all the way home. I think if we could all be moms/dads (toughest job in the world!) we could all do it. Some of us may cry before during or after the trip but I believe we all can do it if we really have to. :) For those with upcoming trips, you can do it too! Bring lots of distraction toys and have a good plan getting your bags checked, through security, and try to hit the restrooms before you board. Keeping your LO in the stroller as you walk through the airport helps a lot. It's less tiring for you and you can be hands free. Of course, I'm not saying my youngest didn't cry at first but he dealt with it after a few seconds. :) Things will come up and you'll just have to tackle it as it comes.
