5 hours for all those treats are impressive! I made 4 kinds of bar cookies yesterday morning and I still need to make some jam and caramels next weekend!

@BabyBoecksMom: yummy, I'll have to try that one! The one's I made had Rice Krispies in them, and I dipped them into milk chocolate only because I didn't have semi-sweet...I agree with refrigerating them first!

@Bao:
1.5 cup peanut butter
1 cup butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
6 cups powdered sugar

I dip them in semi-sweet chocolate, but I always find that they have to stay refrigerated because the chocolate stays so soft. What do you dip yours in?

@Bao: Those are my go-to thing to make around the holidays. I think I ate about 10 of them by myself today. :-)

I bake a lot on a regular basis... A LOT. So it didn't seem like a big deal when I decided to bake goodies for DD's daycare momma's instead of giving money. I didn't realize how much effort it would really take me, especially since I'm still recovering from knee surgery.

I made cookie dough cupcakes, chocolate covered oreos, peanut butter balls, chocolate chip cookies, fudge and magic bars. HOLY MOLY!!

I have to say I'm pretty proud of getting all that done in 5 hours, but I'm so glad to be done so I can rest my knee.

What hands on crafts/baking have you done that you were happy to be done with.
