DS was doing this for a while with his cup. He thought it was hilarious to throw it. We just tried to stay as expressionless as possible, pick it up, and put it out of his reach. My LO eats so much better when she eats off of a fork. And she's fully capable. But she also thinks it is HILARIOUS to throw the fork. At us. Or the dog. Or whatever. We tell her no. We try just taking the fork away but then she eats way less and also doesn't get to practice with the fork (we've done whole weeks where I take it away after the very first throw and it doesn't seem to put a dent in the throwing). I want a fork that she can't throw. Like on a paci clip? but longer obviously so we can help her get food on the fork (she's awesome about fork-to-mouth but not so much on food-to-fork). </p> <p>Is this a thing? </p>
