I have a crv I bought new and my so has a Prius. We rented a minivan so we could all fit int he same car and it was super handy. Makes me think our next family car might be a minivan. Wow it is awesome. They are way cooler than they used to be and we have all kinds of bells and whistles. The main issue was that our Nissan rogue just could not transport anyone else with 2 car seats, and the SUVs with 3rd row really don't provide much leg room for people like grandparents who want to come with. I think the new quests &amp; new odysseys are really nice looking! No shame in it! :) I drove my BFF's mini van a few times &amp; it was actually not bad to drive. I wish there were more AWD ones available though. And why isn't there a hybrid one?? Unless I just missed it. Sienna has an AWD version, but just as a personal taste thing, I think there are others that are more attractive. I suppose cars are meant to be driven so it doesn't really matter that much what it looks like as long as it's comfy, safe, and reliable. We didn't want our pup in the back with the baby because he gets awfully excited around her and would just lick her the whole time, so he got to ride shot gun and I was in the back with my LO. I guess I should explain that we like to take the dog pretty much everywhere we go. Sitting in the back all the time made me start getting car sick.... and this was creating a big problem.</p> <p>So in came the mini van. Now the dog gets the way back, LO is in the captains chair, and I get to ride shot gun like an adult again.
