Shortly before I woke up, he stretched a front leg around my neck and rested his cheek on mine while laying on my chest. Cats are strange creatures when they get out they can wander for days or weeks. Just keep your hopes high and I am sure he will return home. It sounds really lame but we used to shake a macaroni and cheese box (sounds like catfood) and call kitty kitty kitty and they would come running (i am sure you have tried something similar). About 2 years ago he managed to get outside one night (he's indoor only but against his will) and he didn't come back. Needless to say I was a nervous wreck and DH spent his free time looking for my poor baby. And dang it, I miss my boy SO much! It's not the same making lasagna without feeding him ricotta, not the same snuggling with my husband knowing that the cat won't be intruding, not the same walking in and not being met with a sound scolding for leaving him or walking past our apartment without him looking out the window, not the same petting the other cat (who is THRILLED her "brother" is gone)... This cat has SO much personality that our second cat is HIS pet cat (not mine.) Add in that he's a natural seizure/memory aide cat, and this cat is pure dead magic. I'm staying home from my volunteer work today just in case someone calls about him. I'm refreshing the website that posts pictures of the pound kitties every hour. (I got a very confused person asking to buy him today - no, he's lost and I'm looking for him - not any cat, him.) </p>
